By accessing or using VowKnot ("Service," "Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this platform.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use VowKnot. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

VowKnot provides a digital platform for creating, customizing, and sharing wedding invitations. Our services include:

• Digital invitation creation and customization from a selection of templates
• Guest RSVP tracking
• Photo gallery uploads
• Background music selection
• Google Maps venue integration
• Shareable invitation links

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

Demo templates displayed on our platform are provided solely to showcase design and functionality. Demo content does not represent real people, weddings, or events. All names, dates, and details shown are fictitious and used strictly for demonstration purposes. Any resemblance to actual persons or events is purely coincidental.

To access our Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

VowKnot operates on a one-time payment model. There are no recurring subscriptions.

• All pricing is displayed clearly before checkout
• Payments are processed securely via Dodo Payments
• VowKnot does not store your card or banking details
• The price shown at checkout is the final amount, with no hidden charges

Your personalized invitation is generated immediately after successful payment. You will get access to your editor dashboard to customize your invitation with your wedding details.

• After purchase, you may edit your invitation an unlimited number of times until your wedding date
• Once the wedding date passes, editing access to your invitation is locked
• Your invitation link will remain publicly accessible for 45 days after your wedding date
• After this 45-day period, the public link will be deactivated. The invitation record is not deleted, and you retain read-only access from your account dashboard
• This transition is non-reversible

By creating an invitation on VowKnot, you acknowledge that:

• The information you provide — including names, event details, photos, and any other content — will be publicly accessible via a unique shareable link
• Anyone with access to that link can view the invitation without requiring an account
• VowKnot is not responsible for how the link is distributed or accessed by third parties once shared by you
• You are solely responsible for the content you upload and the level of personal information you choose to include

You are fully responsible for any photos or media you upload. By uploading content, you confirm that:

• You own the rights to the content, or it is properly licensed for your use
• Uploading copyrighted content without authorization is strictly prohibited
• VowKnot does not claim ownership of any user-uploaded content
• VowKnot reserves the right to remove content that violates copyright laws or platform policies without prior notice

The default background music tracks provided by VowKnot are licensed, royalty-free, and intended solely for use within your invitation.

You agree not to:

• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Post harmful, threatening, abusive, or illegal content
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service

All platform design, templates, code, and branding are the property of VowKnot. You retain full ownership of the personal content (names, photos, messages) you submit. You may use our templates for your personal invitation but may not resell, redistribute, or claim ownership of our designs.

• All purchases are final once your invitation has been generated
• Refunds may be considered for duplicate or erroneous payments
• Technical delays or temporary outages do not qualify for refunds — access will be restored as soon as possible
• To request a refund for a valid reason, contact us at support@vowknot.com within 7 days of purchase.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VowKnot is not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Third-party misuse of your invitation link once shared
• Internet connectivity or browser compatibility issues
• Any damages exceeding the amount paid by you for the service

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, or abusive content, without prior notice.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
